A DEEP SEA TALE FROM DOWN UNDER, the Australian live-action TV success series H2O - Just add water follows three teenage schoolgirls who transform into mermaids at the touch of water. The series has been sold to several European territories including NRK in Norway, TV2 Denmark and YLE in Finland. Main target group for H2O - Just add water is children, tweens and teens.

The teen mermaid show H2O - Just add water, produced by Australia's Jonathan M. Shiff Productions, has been exceeding the channel average on Germany's ZDF by more than four times for kids ages three to 13. H2O - Just add water follows the sixteen-year old girls Rikki, Cleo and (from season 3) Bella, who transform into amphibious beauties at the touch of water. As mermaids, they have supernatural abilities that sometimes complicate their regular teenage-girl activities.
H2O - Just add water is filmed on location at Sea World and other locations on Australia's Gold Coast, featuring stunning underwater photography shot among real sharks and tropical fish, visual effects and spectacular underwater tank filming. In Plus Licens' territories, the series is seen on TV2 Denmark, NRK in Norway, YLE in Finland and on the Disney Channel and Jetix.
Master toy partner is Playmates whose product line includes 10-inch deluxe mermaid dolls with transforming fin -to-skirt fashion, accessories, sea -animal friends, a Zodiac boat, and a Mako playset that interacts with the dolls through hidden resistors that activate sounds in the playset. The Playmates toys are distributed by Vivid Imaginations.
