A Land Before Time television series has been produced by Universal Animation Studios and Amblin Entertainment in 26 x 26-minute episodes. In its premiere week on Cartoon Network US, the series was #1 in its time period among kids 6-11 and #2 among kids 2-5 - averaging 825.000 total viewers. The series delivers balanced results among kids in all age groups, with its greatest appeal among boys and pre-schoolers 2-5. In Plus Licens' territories, the series has been sold to TV channels in Norway (NRK), Denmark (DR), Finland (MTV3), Russia (CTC), the Czech Republic (Prima), Hungary (TV 2), Romania (Antena 1), Bulgaria (Nova) and Slovenia (Pro Plus).

The Land Before Time Collection features products from over 40 licensees, capturing the adventures of the dinosaur friends with warm pastel colors and lively renderings, perfect for toddlers and infants.

The ongoing publishing program comprises more than 30 titles, including coloring books, activity books and hardcover storybooks.

The Land Before Time CD-ROM series has sold more than 600.000 units and has been translated into ten foreign languages.

The characters:

Littlefoot is the leader of the pack in search of The Great Valley. This loving little long-neck Apatosaurus radiates warmth. He carries a "tree star" for good luck and in remembrance of his mother.

Cera, the tenacious and proud Triceratops was born without fear and is fiercely independent. Because of her pride, she is ashamed to admit that she is actually scared of the sharp-tooth dinosaur. She tries her best to like others and make new friends.

The perpetually cheerful Anatosaurus Ducky is also known as "big mouth" and loves to hum happy tunes. Ducky makes light of difficult situations so no one will feel scared. Her charming, caring way inspires others to want to be her friend.

Chomper, a newly hatched, thoroughly irresistible Tyrannosaurus tyke is named for his healthy appetite. Chomper is a friendly, fearless little guy with a knack for biting off more than he can chew.

Petrie is a Pterodactyl, a "flyer" dinosaur who is afraid to fly! Timid little Petrie would much rather walk, run or climb.

Spike is a green spiked-tail Stegosaurus. He is the shy and quiet one of the pack and doesn't like confrontation. Spike is always hungry and will eat every chance he gets, even in terribly dangerous situations.
