A HIGH QUALITY STOP FRAME animation series primarily targeted at 2-6 year olds, Little Red Tractor is a proven pre-school success with millions of books and more than 300.000 video cassettes sold only in the UK since the original release in 1994. The Little Red Tractor television series is a co-production between Entertainment Rights and The Little Entertainment Company in close collaboration with the BBC. After only three episodes, the BBC recommissioned another season of the series!
The series, based on the hugely popular books by Peter Tye and Colin Reeder, comprises 75 x 10' episodes. In Plus Licens territories, the series launched in Poland on TVP1 in February 2005 and on Minimax in September 2005, and in Slovenia on Pop TV in January 2005. Cass Film in Poland and Video Art in Slovenia are video/DVD partners.

In a pre-schooler's world, where "big" often rules over "small", Little Red Tractor is someone children will instantly empathise with because like them, he proves that you don't have to be the biggest to be the best! Little Red Tractor represents classic pre-school entertainment with all of the elements of an evergreen property - fun, timeless storylines that capture children's imaginations (e.g. tractor races, kite flying, berry picking, harvesting); funny, clever and brave role models that children can easily relate to; appealing themes and settings (vehicles, farming, growing, animals); interactive content with "toots", "beeps", "honks" and a catchy, hand-clapping theme tune!
The Little Red Tractor lives on Gosling Farm with a young farmer called Stan. The farm is of modest size, but full of rural charm. The local farming community is made up of colorful characters including larger, more powerful machines than Little Red Tractor, but our hero relies on his wit and determination to compete in the everyday challenge they face.
In these fun farmyard adventures, we see Little Red Tractor use his quick thinking to beat Big Blue in a race, save the day when Nipper falls down a mineshaft and rescue Stumpy when he is left stranded on the barn roof in a blizzard. But whatever the challenge, Little Red Tractor is always ready to help his friends with an excited whiz of his starting handle and cheerful "toot toot"!
