THERE'S A CELEBRATION going on in Ponyville! The My Little Pony brand celebrates the girls in moment. There’s no rush for them to grow up, just a totally accessible world that they love being a part of. In 2003, Hasbro initiated a powerful re-launch of the classic toy brand, comprising new product development and new category initiatives including feature films.

My Little Pony is a children's toy that celebrates magic, kindness, thoughtfulness, friendship, love and fun; distinguishing the brand from many hard-edged children's products in the modern market. My Little Pony offers a fantasy world that is adapted to the small child's imagination, without any rush to grow up. The main target group is girls 3-6 years old. My Little Pony offers an easy, engaging, playful fantasy with play patterns loved by little girls and experiences encouraged by their caretakers.

Launched in 1983, My Little Pony became an overnight sensation. During its first ten years, the brand generated worldwide retail sales in excess of $1 billion. For seven years, My Little Pony was ranked the #1 mini doll brand!

Since the re-launch in 2003, more than 4 million toys have been sold worldwide, with over $90 million in retail sales. There are more than 100 licensees across all categories only in Europe, with 3.5 million books sold in Europe since launch. The ongoing licensing program - including publishing, apparel, stationery and housewares - creates full brand presence on the market, expanding the brand beyond mini dolls into role play, plush, promotions and media entertainment.

New themes are introduced each year to drive storyline and product development and new ponies are continuously launched by Hasbro, supported by TV advertising.

Recent direct-to-video releases include Princess Promenade and Runaway Rainbow in 2006, A Very Pony Place in 2007 and Pinkie Pie's Special Day in 2008.

Plus Licens represents Hasbro for merchandising, publishing and promotional rights for My Little Pony in Russia (C.I.S.), Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Bulgaria.
