FROM HOWDY DOODY TO XENA - the back catalogue from media giant NBC Universal covers a number of classic television series! Formed in May 2004 by the merger of NBC with Vivendi Universal Entertainment, NBC Universal's library comprises TV series from more than five decades, some of which also have extensive styleguide and artwork programs building on retro and nostalgia elements as well as timeless great design. Plus Licens represents NBCU for merchandising, publishing and promotional rights in the Nordic countries and Central and Eastern Europe.

With regards to licensing, television titles from the NBCU library can be mixed in one agreement and there is a general flexibility with artwork. Titles include:

Airwolf (1984-87)
As part of a deal with an intelligence agency to look for his missing brother, a renegade pilot goes on missions with an advanced battle helicopter. Starring Jan-Michael Vincent as Stringfellow Hawke.

BJ & The Bear (1978-81)
A trucker (Greg Evigan) and his pet monkey travel the highways of America, getting into various adventures and misadventures along the way.

Columbo (1971-79)
An American crime series starring Peter Falk as Lieutenant Columbo, a homicide detective with the LAPD. With his rumpled raincoat, ever-present cigar, bumbling demeanour and Sherlock Holmesian powers of deduction, disarmingly polite homicide detective Lieutenant Columbo took on some of the most cunning murderers in Los Angeles, most of whom made one fatal, irrevocable mistake: underestimating his investigative genius.

Dragnet (1967-70)
Police Detective Sgt. Joe Friday (Jack Webb) and his partners investigate crimes in Los Angeles.

Knight Rider (1982-86)
The adventures of Michael Knight and his incredible super-car K.I.T.T., Knight Industries 2000. Selected by a dying billionaire, Wilton Knight, Michael now works for the Foundation for Law and Government with the job of rooting out evil that is above the law, with only his trusty car!

Kojak (1973-78)
A bald police detective (Telly Savalas) with a firey righteous attitude battles crime in his city.

Leave It To Beaver (1957-63)
The Cleavers are the 1950's 'All-American Family' in this 'feel-good' family sitcom. Starring Jerry Mathers and Barbara Billingsley.

Magnum, P.I. (1980-88)
Tom Selleck stars as Thomas Magnum, a charming private detective who lives in Hawaii on the estate of an absentee millionaire. Though a bit of a rascal, Magnum investigates his cases with skill, deftly moving about an island that is luxurious, exotic, and sometimes dangerous. One of the biggest hits in television history.

Miami Vice (1984-89)
Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas star in this inconic series which chronicles the adventures of the vice squad detectives of the Miami Police Department.

The Munsters (1964-66)
A family of friendly monsters have repeated misadventures, never quite realizing why people react to them so strangely. Starring Fred Gwynne, Al Lewis and Yvonne De Carlo.

Murder, She Wrote (1984-96)
Angela Lansbury stars as mystery writer Jessica Fletcher, an affable, kind woman with a mind for murder. This long-running, Emmy-winning series delights as it encourages the attentive viewer to decipher the clues and join Jessica in solving the case.

Saved By The Bell (1989-93)
Saved By The Bell features six enterprising, adventurous teenage students with inventive schemes and mischievous dreams. Starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez and Tiffani Thiessen.

Six Million Dollar Man
(1974-78)
After a crippled test pilot is rebuilt with nuclear powered limbs and implants, he serves as a unique intelligence agent. Starring Lee Majors.

Xena: Warrior Princess (1995-2001)
Xena (Lucy Lawless), a mighty warrior and healer, once led a band of outlaws that terrorized all of Greece. She has come to regret the harm she caused and, with her companion Gabrielle, now travels the countryside seeking adventure and fighting the forces.
