LIFE OF 12-YEAR OLD TOMMY CRADLE, a regular kid who loves watching TV and playing video games, is turned upside down when five aliens - Dingo, Gumpers, Flip, Swanky and Scruffy - decide to take up residence with him in his lighthouse. The aliens make Tommy’s world interesting as they endeavor to learn about Earth and often make it their business to "help" their friend Tommy with the daily trials and tribulations of being a kid.

The colorful 3D/CGI animated series Pet Alien, so far produced in 104x11' episodes, is seen on Cartoon Network Nordic since 2005 and has also been sold to NRK in Norway. Other European broadcasters are Cartoon Network Europe, TF1 in France, CITV in the UK and KIKA in Germany. The series will also be distributed by SF Video throughout the Nordic countries (launch date TBA). Main target group is children 5-11.

The series is a slapstick comedy full of physical and visual gags in the style of Tex Avery, altough rendered in the 3D format. The distinctive humor of the show lies in taking ordinary, everyday occurrences and filtering them through innocent alien eyes. But it's the aliens naive interpretations of these events and their subsequent actions that truly deliver the sensibility of the show. This ultimately creates an environment in which the only thing that can really be expected is the unexpected!

The licensing program for Pet Alien in Plus Licens territories includes Game Factory/KE Media for worldwide interactive games, including handheld games for Nintendo DS, PSP, GBA and PS2, and Fisher Price for worldwide distribution of view master brand reels and viewers. Internationally, Grosset & Dunlap will create a young readers book line - including chapter books, comic-style books, activity books, joke books and colouring books - planned for launch in spring 2007.

13-year-old Tommy likes to live his life just under the radar... no problems, no hassles, no troubles. He's a nice "B" student with a nice, easy life. But that was before Dinko and the gang showed up! To Dinko, who's been in the Conforma Dimension for the past 300 years, Earth is so fantastic, so wonderful, there's only one thing to do... Stay! and bring friends.

Plus Licens represents Taffy Entertainment for merchandising, promotional and publishing rights to Pet Alien in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
