Go Fish
is the unique new comic panel from J.C. Duffy, creator of "The Fusco Brothers," that gets inside the mind of psychiatrist Norman Floyd with insanely funny results. Available daily and Sunday, Go Fish is a clever, often hilarious comic panel peopled with eccentric characters and whimsical observations.
Go Fish was launched in October 2002, and appears in 50 newspapers worldwide. Psychiatrist Norman Floyd lives in a high-rise with his wife, Miriam, their son, Teddy, and their dog, Ruprecht. After spending his workday dealing with his daffy clients, Dr. Floyd returns home for an evening of dealing with his daffy family.
J.C. Duffy has been writing and drawing "The Fusco Brothers" comic strip for Universal Press Syndicate since 1990. Prior to that, he had an extensive line of greeting cards with Recycled Paper Greetings, and also worked in newspaper illustration. In addition to four Fusco Brothers book collections published by Andrews McMeel, a collection of his drawings, Moot Points, was published by Addison Wesley. His cartoons appear regularly in The New Yorker and other magazines. "I could say I'm trying to explore the complexity of family relationships, along with delving deeply into the world of psychiatry and neuroses, but in fact I'm just trying to come up with something funny every day", says Duffy. "Since I don't actually have a wife, son, dog, or psychiatrist, I figured that was the most sensible approach to take".
Plus Licens represents United Feature Syndicate and Newspaper Enterprise Association for syndication rights to Go Fish in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia.
