TM/© Sesame Workshop

The new claymation series Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures is produced by award-winning Misseri Studio in Italy, initially in two seasons each of 26 x 5-minute shorts, and produced by Sesame Workshop’s Senior Executive Producer, Arlene Sherman. The shorts debuted in the US in August 2008 as inserts on the Sesame Street program and are also being launched internationally as a stand-alone series.

Each episode of Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures opens with Bert and Ernie looking at photographs and scrapbooks, and then remembering a wild ride of adventures... with the help of a powerful imagination! Through their great adventures, Bert and Ernie illuminate important social and emotional skills associated with friendship while introducing critical thinking skills as they generate innovative ideas to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Kids will see the dynamic duo taking turns and sharing ideas while they journey to exotic locations and meet new and diverse characters. Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures is filled with life lessons, a look at rarely seen family members, shape-changing furniture, and of course, Ernie's Rubber Duckie and Bert's pet pigeon Bernice.

Plus Licens represents Sesame Workshop for DVD rights to Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures and other series from Sesame Workshop in the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe.
