Elmo's World features the world's most-famous Sesame Street character, Elmo, along with the hilarious Mr. Noodle and Elmo's pet goldfish Dorothy. Each 15-minute show invites viewers to a very special place, Elmo's imagination, and explores one kid-friendly topic - such as shoes, books, music, balls or birthdays - from a 3-year-old's point of view.

As the host, Elmo leads the viewers, speaking directly into the camera as a way of engaging youngsters in an educational adventure. Elmo's World features vibrant animated segments and live-action films. In these segments Elmo and other children ask questions that help reveal information about the topic of the day. For example, when the topic is shoes, kids question who wears them, discuss different parts of a shoe, and direct Elmo's befuddled friend Mr. Noodle on the proper way to wear them. While viewer's enjoy Elmo's and his friends' antics, the Elmo's World series fosters exploration, imagination and curiosity.
