Play With Me Sesame is a half-hour interactive show starring Ernie, Bert and Grover, where children play, sing and dance along with their favorite characters from Sesame Street. Each episode features newly created Sesame Street segments mixed with classic Sesame Street footage, inviting children to engage in a specific activity.

"Ernie Says" (a la Simon Says) gets kids up and playing along right from the start. Bert invites kids to play his favorite games, creating oatmeal art and matching and sorting socks. And Grover's "Move and Groove with Grover" gets kids singing and dancing to classic Sesame Street songs.

Play With Me Sesame's participatory approach helps young children prepare for school socially, emotionally and intellectually. The on-air activities support children's creativity and individual expression. In addition, the activites stress the fundamental concepts critical to learning how to read, and to do math and science.

The show may also be customized with local live-action inserts that can capture the unique character and customs of individual countries. These indigenous inserts, created with Sesame Workshop producers, celebrate the human color and richness of the country in which they are broadcast. A customized local puppet character can also be developed and integrated into Play With Me Sesame's open and close to further the localization of the series.

Plus Licens represents Sesame Workshop for DVD rights to Play With Me Sesame and other series from Sesame Workshop in the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe.
